Patch Perfect

Last week we had another visit to Chloe's eye doctor. She's been wearing her glasses for six months and there is some improvement. Her eye is no longer turning in like it used to, and her vision has improved slightly. However, her vision is still not good. Therefore, the doctor wants her to wear a patch on her good eye two hours a day. This could last for a year or more. Hopefully, this will reteach the brain to use the poor eye again so it strengthens. Please continue to pray for healing!

We all wore a patch the first day (including Spirit the horse) to help make it easier.

Each day Chloe wore her patch she was able to put a star on her chart. At the end of five days she received a super cool Sleeping Beauty play set that she had picked out at the store. I was so proud of her because she had to look at the prize in the package all week before she could open it. (Side note: You'll notice another row of stars at the bottom. That row is for Spirit. He wore a patch every day too. Sheesh.)

She played with this toy ALL DAY when she got to open it. What a reward!

Aw, sweet girl! My friend's son had to wear glasses and patches like that from a really early age as well. He's all done with the patching and wears his glasses just fine.
Way to go, Chloe! (And Spirit:)
