Great Wolf Lodge

I know I am late in posting things, but I wanted to finally share about a wonderful little "get away" we were able to have before Christmas. When Paul and I were up in Traverse City, the church there surprised us by putting us up at the Great Wolf Lodge in town. It is a FANTASTIC hotel with a huge indoor water park.

It was so much fun to see Chloe enjoying herself, and Paul was tireless taking her where ever she wanted since I couldn't. I loved seeing the excitement and joy on both their faces. We were so thankful for such a special treat!

The lobby was all decorated for Christmas, and they even had a little show each night where they made it snow (actually it was bubbles) inside.

There was a little craft/play area that you could go to when you were not swimming. Chloe painted a birdhouse.

This was the bed that Chloe got to sleep in. She was excited because it was in this den-like area and she got to sleep on the top bunk.

Headed down the big water slide. She was fearless. At night, the green part of this tube was pitch black because it stretched to the outside of the building. She thought that was pretty cool.

These were the slides she could go down by herself. She felt like such a big girl.

This was the big labyrinth of hoses, nets and ladders you had to climb up to get to the slides.

All tuckered out after a long, fun day.
